Between tears and laughs

Had to come home earlier today. Contractions have started this morning with up to 6-8 painful peaks per hour. So I went to COOP bought some chocolate, for the hospital and went home. Since few hours I am counting contractions and trying to make her (–> my wife) laugh, so that the painful moments go over as smooth as possible. Up to few weeks ago I didn’t know the English word for Wehe (contraction), so I thought immediately on contraction ratios of wind tunnels, which do not have anything in common with women, even though I tend to compare many things with my work. I am rather helpless in this situation, besides giving her something to eat and being around her, there is not much to make her long and painful journey comfortable. One thing, besides others, which “verwusch ihre Tränen” (is that even German? wannabe German for: smeared her tears away) was to show her the following clip:

For the case that the upper video doesn’t appear try this one:

Thanks Amouna, Vero, Timmy (I am not sure about Reynolds or Prandl, hopefully not as screwed as I am) and welcome American Turk.
