A vortex on my sons head

While examining my son my eyes got caught by the vortex on his head. His light hair resembles the form of a nice vortex, or as we Germans say Wirbel.

To clarify the picture: the left side shows his head and the right part (taken from wikipedia) shows a flow visualisation of a vortex created by an aircraft wing. I am starting to enjoy every little discovery and I am curious what I will explore within the next couple of days. And again, I realise how difficult flow visualisations can be. It was quite difficult to keep his head still to take an image, where the fine “streamlines” on his head could be captured by the camera. Imagine how difficult it must be for those who perform PIV measurements, to have a clear view of as much as possible particles in the same plane. Fortunately, I am again a passive observer and do not care about quantities, it is ones more just the enjoying father who explores his son.

Nur zur Klarstellung: Ich führe keine Experimente durch, sondern Beobachte nur. Aber sind wir nicht alle Objekte, die von anderen beobachtet und analysiert werden?
